This wick is woven with very fine brass wire reinforcing, which is standard for many juggling torches and fire devil sticks. The underlying Kevlar blend performs just like standard wick, so the wire is needed generally only to hold certain shapes, and/or for props that may scrape the ground a lot. The usual amount used for one juggling torch is 2 ft (61 cm) of 2 in. wide wick.
